Hedda Gabler
I am happy to announce additional casting for our upcoming production of Hedda Gabler. Joining Mary-Louise Parker are Michael Cerveris as Jorgen Tesman and Paul Sparks as Ejlert Lovborg.
Michael Cerveris, a dear friend of Roundabout, won a Tony award for his performance in our 2004 production of Assassins. He has since garnered two more Tony nominations for his work in Sweeney Todd and LoveMusik, and he can currently be seen in John Weidman and Stephen Sondheim’s new musical Road Show. Paul Sparks has an extensive list of off-Broadway credits, including Lady and Essential Self-Defense, to name a few, and he appeared on Broadway in 2003 in Take Me Out.
The design team will include Hildegard Bechtler (Sets), Ann Roth (Costumes), Natasha Katz (Lights) and John Gromada (Sound).
I am very excited to welcome this talented team to the American Airlines Theatre.
